No-Sew Sr. Sto. Niño de Cebu Vestment (DIY)

I have always wanted to change the vestment of my “Niño” with something that I will make by myself as thanksgiving for the graces and blessings that He has given me and my family.

The sewing part was my greatest challenge! Needless to say, it’s been years since  my last attempt and I have not even put all the pieces together.

Here are the materials used:

US Red Velvet Cloth (cape)

White Bridal Satin (inner clothing)

Gold Lace Trimmings (edges of the cape, inner clothing)

Gold Cord (to tie the cape)

Old Headdress (I converted this into vestment embellishments)

Option: For embellishments, you can buy lace patches, crystals, etc.
